INSTRUCTORS

EDYE VANDYKE is a retired teacher who started to knit in college. Several years later, during the scarf craze, she resumed knitting. This gypsy-at-heart loves color, texture, linen yarn and knitting 2 piece outfits. She is a stickler for proper fit.

JODI HORGAN is a wife, mother, and shepherdess living on a farm in Armstrong County PA. Her expertise spans past knitting. She is an indie dyer, spinner, and jewelry making. Jodi comes to us with all sorts of classes like Intro to Fair Isle, Beginners Knitting, Brioche, and Steeking. You will sometimes see Jodi popped up at YBD selling her homegrown fibers and hand dyed yarns.

SARAH SOKOLOSKI became interested in crocheting while living in Denver, CO in search of a hobby that did not need to be plugged in and can go with her on hiking and camping trips in the mountains. Now that Pittsburgh is her home, she is never without a working project including amigurumi, crocheted jewelry, paper flowers, embroidery and yarn wall hangings.
